As I enter into my final week as an undergrad at Georgia State University, I am starved for a creative outlet. Like many young adults, I am closing a chapter in my life that is my youth and entering a new one towards adulthood. I have absorbed and regurgitated copious amounts of information in my collegiate journey, yet I do not feel a sense of fulfillment in simply obtaining a degree. When I lay in bed at night and my body begins to shut down, the light in my brain begins to shine on everything hidden in my subconscious. I think about things I desire, changes that I need to make, and how I have affected people that day. Many of these ideas seem to be answers towards realizing my full potential. This burning light that flickers and briefly sparks these ideas is inside all of our minds. As long as we are acknowledging this light and expanding on ways to execute these ideas, the light burns incrementally brighter. This blog is my expansion, this light is my desire to create, and without your eyes this light does not exist. I invite you to join me on this journey towards self-actualization as I express myself, my learning, and my content. This is my matter.

  2. Cody, this blog is perfect for you. The years that I’ve known you and I’ve been able to participate in a sliver of the experiences that have lead up to this moment makes me excited about what the next chapter for you is. Continue to inspire others such as myself to persue their dreams and live life one moment at a time.

I love you like the brother I never had, and I’m proud of you.

    1. Thanks a ton, D. I definitely draw inspiration and wisdom from experiences I’ve had alongside you. I aspire to be as humble and patient as you one day, man. I’m just as proud of you for making it out and for taking that next step with your wife to be. Many blessings my brother, the love is mutual.
